🐥🦋 குட்டிப் பையனும், பட்டாம்பூச்சியும், கோழிகுஞ்சியும்.

மிக மிருதுவாக பட்டாம்பூச்சியைப் பிடித்து,

இனிமையுடன் வரவேற்று,

இதமாக பல்துலக்கிடுவேனே..!

ஆனால்...

என்னுடைய பல் துலக்கும் முறை வரும்போது,

அவசரமாய் ஓடிவிடுவேனே..!

இரு கோழிகுஞ்சிகளை வாங்கி,

பத்திரமாய் வளர்த்திடுவேனே;

சாப்பிட நெல்மணிகளை

அன்போடு கொடுத்துவிடுவேனே!

ஆனால் நான் சாப்பிடும் நேரம் வரும்போது,

"அம்மா… வயிறு நிறைந்துச்சு!"

என்று ஓடிவிடுவேனே!

“I catch the butterfly, gently, sweetly,
And brush its teeth so whitely.”

But what we see:
When it’s his turn, he runs away —
A big “No!” to brushing that day.

He says:
“I buy two chicks, I raise them with care,
And feed them both within the square.”

But what we see:
When it’s his turn, his plate stays full —
Like his heart.

He says:
“My tummy is full, Mommy…”
